This film was originally composed for a theatre screen at the Johnson&Johnson pavilion at the Beijing Olympic games. Imagine a long thin rectangle 12 feet high and about 72 feet wide. It’s a very rarely used format–one that poses a multitude of technical challenges–but it’s ideal for broad landscapes and vistas.
